2000年毕业于芬兰赫尔辛基工业大学（现阿尔托大学），获得硕士和博士学位。同年留校任教，先后担任助理教授、副研究员。2018.09至今担任杭州电子科技大学机械工程学院教授。参与多个芬兰政府及企业项目，累计到账经费约1000欧元。以第一作者发表SCI论文70余篇，谷歌他引近700次，论文总下载量接近10000次。2010-2017 曾任流动和燃烧协会北欧分会，芬兰国唯一理事。代表性科研项目Turbulence transition and fluid dynamics relevant to flexible structures, Metso, 200欧元；
